About María C. Bechily

María Bechily is a dedicated arts leader, philanthropist, and collector with a lifelong passion for public art and modern masters. Since relocating to Miami in 2014, she has actively shaped the cultural landscape through her board leadership at institutions such as PAMM, ArtesMiami, Locust Projects, the Dora Maar Cultural Center, and the Women Photographers International Archive. An advocate for the arts, María has spent decades championing cultural access, expanding opportunities for others, and building a personal art collection with her husband, Scott, that celebrates her Latin American heritage.
